Shark R-RV2310 Matrix Robot Vacuum

I initially purchased this Shark Matrix RV2310 robot vacuum as a replacement for several Roombas which, frankly, sucked. I sent them both back after just a few weeks and did some additional research before purchasing the Shark. The good: This things just plain WORKS! The combination of Lidar and AI means this thing is thorough and efficient. It easily finds its way in and out of the tight corners of all of the rooms without ever getting tangled up, unlike the Roombas. And it cleans very very well. Being slightly CDO (that is just like being OCD but the letters are in alphabetical order like they're supposed to be!) I did a test by vacuuming each room first with a Dyson pet model before letting the Shark loose in it. The Shark always picked up a lot more additional pet hair and dust then the Dyson. And the mapping function was easy to use and actually worked amazingly well thanks to the Lidar, unlike the Roomba. And the user interface/app is super easy and convenient. As an example, I modified the map after a few cleanings to separate the main part of the living room which is used less often then the walk through which sees constant traffic. So I was able to just clean the walkthrough area each night while I slept rather then clean the whole room. Now the bad: These are supposed to be refurbished units but both units I had were very very well used, not "like new' at all. I think they just cleaned the dirt off, put a new filter in, then shipped them to customers. The first one I had cleaned well but the battery would only run about 40 minutes before dying. That's about 250 sq ft of cleaning or the average living room. So to do the whole house would take all day and part of the night. So I sent it back for replacement. The second one I got was even worse. It was packed really sloppy and you could hear it rattling around in the box. And it sounded like a hovering Blackhawk helicopter so no night runs for this one. And the battery was even worse. It failed to clean my living room even once without having to go back home to recharge. In conclusion, I would recommend the Shark RV2310 robot vac but would NOT recommend these refurbished units.
