Too much sugar

Every hydration powder seems have a different mix of electrolytes. Personally, I prefer them to have sodium, potassium, magnesium, and zinc. Calcium is good too. This powder has sodium, potassium, and calcium. But now we get to the problems: 1) the sugar content is extraordinary high (10 grams of sugar per 16 gram serving!). 2) the sodium content is way too high at 700mg (30% of your daily value). 3) no zinc, no magnesium. In contrast, another brand I also use has 130mg sodium, 212mg potassium, 60mg magnesium, and 10mg zinc, which I feel is a much more balanced mix.I cut the serving in half, but I still have a problem with that much sugar and that much sodium. I only use this after tough workouts or I can't justify consuming it. It does mix well with water, it tastes good, and it has no additional artificial sweetener if you are concerned about ingesting those.Bottom line, if you're having whole servings of this without accompanying exercise you are fooling yourself to think it is healthy. With exercise, it is acceptable at a partial serving.
