Best quality shaver for the price and lengths!

I tried several name brand beard trimmers within a $15 range of the Remington Beardsman. I was looking for one that could trim my beard if I grow it significantly longer without requiring a ton of individual guards, feels like it'll last several years, and reliably trims evenly. Only a few other trimmers are comparable to the Beardsman in terms of lengths and I did quite a bit of research and trialing them. Very few had adjustable guards that could do a wide range of lengths. Even fewer were quality made and durable. I've never heard of someone boasting about their Rimmington trimmer, so I naturally tried other brands that I thought had a reputation for making quality clippers. Braun reviews were spot on - cheaply made, uneven cutting, and snagging. It stopped working after a month. I narrowed it down to Panasonic, Phillips, and Wahl. A comparable Wahl LOOKED ideal and came with handy attachments.. the thing was tiny and the 'metal' was plastic. The adjustable guard was cheap plastic that wouldn't lock in at a length. It'd jump down 3 lengths and instantly take a chunk out of my beard. I tried to switch to the detail head and the whole shell of the trimmer started coming apart. All of the trimmers I looked at had mixed reviews. The Remington Beardsman looked goofy and didn't have many reviews, however most of the reviews were positive and praising Rimington's support and warranty. I figured all trimmers nowadays are garbage so I'd get one that assures longevity. GAME CHANGER. Great even cut, powerful, durable guard and locking feature, 3 easy to change guard and excellent warranty. One thing that I will note is that without using a guard, the main blade it seems to pinch pretty bad. It may be a defect, but the detail trimmer is sufficient for my no-guard needs. Other than that, im satisfied with my purchase and will stick with Remington next time I need a new trimmer.

It's Okay

I mean honestly it does it's job. I've had a remington for 9 years now and still do but I wanted a cordless one so I can trim my beard with ease. Like most things now, it just feels cheap. Especially the attachments. Also to charge 60 dollars for something and not even include a carrying case is honestly just robbery in my opinion. I'm a fan of remington but I can see they are following the trend here. More money for cheaper products. So far it seems to do the job although it doesn't cut like my corded ones do. I do like the length you can extend the attachment. It's better for longer beards like mine. It cuts pretty even but you still have to go back over it with scissors or straight blade. Of course I have slight curls in my beard so my beard is harder to maintain and line up. Over all it's okay. It would be nice to see a carrying case though. Especially with the extra blades and attachments. Like what are we supposed to do ? Just throw all of this in a basket ? Good luck keeping all these away from the kiddos.
