Excellent Fluoride-Free Alternative - Noticeably Stronger Teeth!
By Amy Biggs on Reviewed in the United States on November 11, 2025
Davids Hydroxi Nano Hydroxyapatite Toothpaste has been a game-changer for my oral health. After switching from fluoride toothpaste, I was concerned about maintaining enamel strength, but this formula has exceeded all expectations. The remineralizing effects are genuinely noticeable. My teeth feel stronger and less sensitive after just a few weeks of use. The nano hydroxyapatite technology seems to work incredibly well - my dentist even commented on the improved condition of my enamel at my last cleaning. The texture is smooth and pleasant, with a clean mint flavor that's refreshing without being overpowering. It foams nicely and leaves my mouth feeling truly clean and fresh. No weird aftertaste or gritty texture that I've experienced with some natural toothpastes. I appreciate the clean ingredient list and the fact that it's fluoride-free while still being highly effective. The sensitivity relief has been remarkable - I can now enjoy cold drinks without discomfort, which wasn't the case before. This toothpaste proves you don't need fluoride for excellent oral health. Outstanding quality and effectiveness - highly recommend for anyone seeking a superior fluoride-free option!

Taste bad, too liquid for me
By Brian Hoskins on Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2025
For whatever reason I've been on a "try new toothpaste" kick, and David's Hydroxi is my latest. I like the appeal of the nano hydroxyapatite toothpastes, so this one looked great from that standpoint. Plus it has great reviews. How does it work? I don't know. For all I know it's strengthening my teeth and preventing cavities, which is great! Hard to tell, but I'll give it three stars on that part - results TBD. But how does it taste? Awful. Worse than awful. The "mint" taste has a vinegar-y flavor in my opinion. When you're brushing it's not completely horrible, only slightly horrible - but tolerable. But wait maybe 10-15 minutes after you brush and it leaves a really unpleasant flavor in your mouth. It's to the point where even if I'm comfy in bed, I will happily get up just to rinse with mouthwash. I'm not a fan. In addition, it's too liquidy. It's not thick enough, and it turns even more liquidy when it's combined with saliva in your mouth. Perhaps this is good from the nHA standpoint...not sure. But it's not good from the "me" standpoint, because it's runs all over the place and if you're not careful it's soon running down your chin. Overall though...the taste, for me, is just plain bad. One of if not THE worst tasting toothpastes that I've ever tried.
