Amazing

I stopped eating processed sugar a while ago so this is exactly what I've been looking for. My wife and made it as cupcakes and they were amazing. I've read some of the negative reviews on here but I didn't have any of those issues. It's important that the frosting is at room temperature and you take your time spreading it. I'm personally a cold cake person and like to refrigerate it and my wife likes them at room temperature. The fact that I'm able to have cake and icing without sugar is still pretty mind-blowing to me. Obviously if you're comparing it back to back with regular cupcakes, it might not taste the same. But for people who have kicked sugar, this was a pretty amazing buy.

Cake is great! Icing is terrible

The cake mix is really good, I’ve been using Birch Benders for their pancakes and cakes for years, the mix is top notch and you can’t beat the simplicity for the low carb count (I hate mixing almond and coconut flours.) HOWEVER- this icing is terrible. Other reviewers are correct, it smells and tastes chemical-y, bitter, just yuck. If you’re going to take the time to make one of their cakes or cupcakes, please omit this awful frosting and make your own with cream cheese, butter, calorie free confectioners sweetener and vanilla. So totally worth it- you’re welcome.
