Great primer for the money!
By CariAnn DeRosa on Reviewed in the United States on April 17, 2025
If you’re looking for a primer that delivers a smooth canvas without feeling heavy, Laura Geller’s Spackle Primer is a solid go-to. It has a lightweight, almost serum-like texture that glides on effortlessly and absorbs quickly. It doesn’t feel greasy or overly matte—just that perfect middle ground where your skin feels hydrated but not slick. One of the standout features is how well it preps the skin for foundation. It really does “spackle” over texture and fine lines, giving a soft-focus effect. Makeup applies more evenly and tends to last longer throughout the day. For those with dry or mature skin, this primer is especially friendly—it doesn’t cling to dry patches or settle into creases. Bonus: There are multiple versions—like tinted or illuminating options—so you can tailor your primer to your skin’s needs. Pros: • Lightweight and hydrating • Smooths skin texture • Helps makeup stay in place longer • Great for dry or mature skin Cons: • Might not be mattifying enough for very oily skin • Slightly pricey compared to drugstore primers Final Verdict: A solid choice if you’re after a primer that feels like skincare and makes your makeup look better, not cakier. It’s not a flashy product, but it’s a reliable one—and sometimes, that’s exactly what you need in your routine.

Laura Gellar spackle
By Terri Damme on Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2025
The product is good but the pump can’t work as the tube part is super short and not designed to pump . Not sure why the pump is even present. You can take off the cap and squeeze the product out. Poor design .
