Expensive, but worth every dollar
By Andrew N Schwartz on Reviewed in the United States on July 9, 2022
I have been using the Hypervolt Plus for over 100 days, and it continues to outperform my expectations. After having used (and returned) a dozen different massage guns in the past couple of years, I was skeptical. But, right out of the box, I was impressed. This product was very professionally packaged and came with a variety of documentation and instruction cards. (The manual was difficult to read because of the size and color of the font.) Clearly, this was a serious product for serious users. The Hypervolt is heavier than most massage guns, weighing in at 3 pounds. The strong motor and flywheel probably account for the extra poundage. The diameter of the handle is larger than most. There are only 3 speeds, but the lowest setting approximates the top speed of other units. I registered my Hypervolt on the company's web site, which I have never done before. Most other brands don't even HAVE a web site. There is a small case to hold the attachments, but no larger case to hold the unit and the attachments. But if you want a larger case, you can order one on their web site. You can also order replacement attachments or even a new battery for $80. After charging the battery, I used the Hypervolt for several hours. Even after this serious usage, the battery was only half depleted. There was no loss of effectiveness as the battery power decreased. Only once in the past 100 days did the Hypervolt shut itself off because the battery was depleted. The impending shutdown was preceded by the blinking of the one remaining battery light and a pulsing of the red ring at the base of the battery. Don't expect an exact correlation between the battery lights and the color ring at the base of the battery. For example, you might have three lights and a red ring, but when you turn it off, it might drop to one light. This is not a major criticism. All in all, I am thrilled with my Hypervolt Plus massage gun. I let a friend use it, and he is going to buy one for himself.

Poor batteries. Has died 2 times and kills the unit. No replacement available
By Pat Morris on Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2025
Device itself worked well and helped with pain when it worked. I have had the battery die 2 times. The battery still powers device but the device will not turn on. Turn the battery pack to off and disconnect from the unit and the power light still stays on. Need a better battery unit. Unit has been lightly used over the years and is not reliable when you need it to work
