Decent Budget monitor.

After years with a TN ASUS 24" 144hz monitor, i wanted to get into the curved scene, and look for an IPS monitor. After searching, and seeing IPS monitors currently (early 2020) are outrageous, i came across this MSI 24" curved VA panel. VA sits between your budget old technology TN panel and the beautiful high end IPS monitors.This monitor is super light weight, there is NO height adjustment, but does TILT. OSD is simple and easy to use. Comes with an HDMI cable, (recommend picking up a DP cable) 144hz works on DP, and 120hz on HDMI 2.0 (need 2.0 capable GPU or youll be stuck at 60-75 hz). Freesync is available at the click of a button on the OSD. additionally it WILL work with G-SYNC as a G-SYNC compatible (not verified by Nvidia) monitor. I use this with a 2060SUPER. (enable FreeSync on monitor then goto Nvidia Control Panel and enable G-Sync compatible)Picture quality is very good, crisp and clear, zero issues with it, this was well worth the $179 i paid, wish i bought 2.

No tilt/rotation/height adjustment.

The image quality is alright. A few things I wish I would have paid closer attention to before buying:1. No rotation from the base. If you turn the display, the legs will follow with it.2. No height adjustment.3. The stand has to be attached by screwing in 4 phillips head screws. My previous monitor had a quick release.4. The DisplayPort is really really close to the stand, gives me concerns about longevity.5. The monitor uses a nonstandard plug for power. Instead of using a standard C2G power cord, it uses a coaxial power connector with an adapter. It's an extra piece of bulk that I have to find a way to hide in my desk.I paid $194 for this monitor. I previously paid $144 for a similar curved 144hz monitor (AOC C24G1) that had all of these features included.
