NETGEAR Nighthawk C7100V Modem Router Combo

I had high hopes from this device because this is the only one that claims to be compatible with all three services phone, internet, and router. Plus I wanted an easy way to stop and start the internet using the App to control the internet abuse by my children. When I installed the spectrum service they denied the compatibility with a voice so that was a bummer. I Had to call Spectrum to home to install a separate modem for voice now. This is my second modem and it has been freezing as well on spectrum internet. I returned the previous one and no I am returning this one too. I am not sure why this has a compatibility issue with the spectrum. although they claim it should work flawlessly. I have isolated all other wifi but it still freezes daily or weekly. very disappointed. last time it happened with another nighthawk I installed and I had to sell it back to someone over the internet after trying over a month and working with a different support specialist at Netgear. I would recommend someone to look into the spectrum compatibility with Netgear devices. I have lost tons of time, energy and money over the equipment by Netgear .
