Works Great in Arizona!

I love this air conditioner! First, the one I received seems brand new. It came with all parts and attachments including the storage bag. It didn't even have a scratch. I realize I may just be lucky. I bought this unit to help cool a 944 sq ft 100 year old house in a historic district. My main air conditioner died and must be completely replaced, but I can't afford it right now. This one is for the living, dining, kitchen area, and I have a smaller one I already had for the bedroom. Temps in my area of Arizona range between 100 - 120 degrees Fahrenheit during the summer. This unit works excellent up to about 110-112, but does struggle a bit above that. It does make the house livable at the higher temps, but I wouldn't say it's comfortable. I'm not going to mark it down for that because even the big household air cons struggle at those extreme temps here in Arizona. All in all I'm very happy!

Lacks the most basic feature

Honestly for how expensive this thing is, it lacks the most basic feature, vents that allow you to change the direction of air flow.It's very annoying and the only way for you to correct it is to move the entire unit left or right.Other then that, it works fine. Just lacking a simple thing like that and being this pricey for me is not worth it.Update:Wish I could give it a negative rating... Now it shuts off every 6 minutes. I've been timing it and 3 mins runs on fan then compressor turns on and after 3 mins of that the entire unit shuts off.DO NOT GET THIS, it's useless
