Marconi Organic Balsamic Vinegar, Box of 100

My daughter has salads for lunch almost daily. The regular balsamic was always spilling into her lunch box. This has solved that problem.

I learned about this project through a long-distance hiker website. Contrary to popular belief, hikers do not live on granola bars (not that there's anything wrong with that). Hikers like good food too! And they need to travel light. These packets are the right portion size, and very, very light to carry I now volunteer at a soup kitchen where olive and vinegar are not available - just fatty, processed salad dressings, and never enough at that. The shipment arrived very fast. I only give it four stars instead of five because the packet holders- a form of plastic - cannot be recycled. Totally non-ecological when we are now in a world where everything must be recycling - surely one of the genius scientists at the tech universities can come up with a biodegradable packet (these are about the size of the take-out restaurant soy sauce packets). Let's lobby them to do that, so we can both enjoy the product and protect the planet. The salad bowl it comes with has many uses; is light to carry; a pleasant color. I will buy this again even as I lobby for the creation of bio-degradable packets.

I pair this with the Marconi Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bring then to Red Robin for my side salads. It's a part of my low carb lifestyle, and the portion control packs are great for that. Order a wedgie burger... Skip the croutons!!!

If you are looking to save calories or lower sodium intake, these are great to take with you when you eat out. Especially helpful when eating at fast food chains, where oil and vinegar is not available.
