Fantastic for travel & brews a great cup of coffee

We hate hotel coffee which is why we purchased this K-Mini plus for our recent 3 week road trip. It worked like a champ!!! This K-mini plus has lot of great features: a removeable 12 ounce water reservoir, a pod storage unit, a slimmer footprint, and a stronger brew function. We especially liked the higher clearance which easily held our 12 ounce insulated travel mugs and the cord storage which easily tucks up inside of the unit. Our only complaint - and it's our fault entirely for not reading the manual - is the quiet 30 second pause that happens after adding the water and inserting the pod. The first week or so, the flickering circular light on the top confused us, since we didn't know if it meant that the water was heating up or if we put the pod too early or too late. We eventually figured it out!Overall, this a great coffee maker that brews a great cup of coffee and works exceptional well for traveling. The narrow profile makes it super easy to set up in a hotel room even when you are only given about 6 inches of counter space.

That's it. No more wasting money on Keurig for me!
By Midwest Hacker on Reviewed in the United States on January 16, 2025
This was my 4th attempt after purchasing my original K50 (I believe that number is correct but was one of the first models from Keurig). It was quite old when I decided to go with the K mini type as it used fresh water for every cup, rather than the tank on the originals. That idea is fine and I prefer it but after trying a Chinese brand that sizzled hard during the heat process, (scary) and being way too hot to drink, I tried the Keurig mini. It died at around a year. 2 cups a day or less. I though I just got a bad one so I bought another. Roughly the same results and by this time I was seeing reviews on Amazon and saw I was not alone. I bought a competitor (and still have it) and used it for a while but it has a small reservoir which I was leary of and decided to try another Keurig mini plus. November of 23' I purchased this one. Died today. Will only pump water with nothing in the cup slot. In other words, the pump is shot. I'm done. Keurig has shot itself in the head in my opinion. Take a good product and cheapen it out of greed and stick it to the customers. I will buy another Instant Solo if it ever fails or try anyone else if they are not making them if/when it does. Sad, truly sad.
