Husband is the espresso drinker and he said they have great flavour and strength. He would definitely have me order them again.

Goodbye Berkeley Peets, hello European Corporate Coffee

I have a Nespresso machine I never use because Nespresso coffee quality is so poor. I saw that Peet's was making Nespresso pods, so decided to resurrect my machine. I bought Peet's Nespresso pod Nerissimo (Intensity 11). Shockingly, it tastes not very different from Nespresso Dharkan. It's not intense at all. The Peet's box says "distributed by Peet's Coffee, Inc. Berkeley CA, manufactured by JDE, roasted in France." Not roasted in California. JDE, if you Google it, is a Business Coffee Solutions Provider based in the Netherlands. They own Peets' now. No wonder it tastes as boring and stale as Nespresso. Silly me, I didn't realize my old California Peets was already owned by a European food conglomerate. You can tell from the taste.
