Got my first iSUP!
By J. B. on Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2015
Just got my Adventurer 2. Packaged well to protect during shipping, and overall pleased with board. Inflated to 10 psi with no problem. As they said in instructions, pump won't register until 7 or 8 psi, so keep going. Didn't take that long. Went to the lake immediately. My wife, my daughter & I tried it for the first time. First time paddle boarding at all. We took turns, and second time out felt much more balanced already. We watched some of the "how to" videos on YouTube prior, and they really helped to have some basic techniques.Inflated at home and took on top of the Explorer. Put directly on crossbars, and seemed to do well. Used ratchet straps, and snugged up nice and didn't move during transport. No ill results from being direct on the crossbars, however, I have a variety of kayak carriers (j-racks, foam blocks, and such) will try out. Also, make sure your ratchet straps have some sort of padding between strap mechanism and board. Overall, I love the light weight of the board....so easy to put up on my own with no major hernia to suffer through. I'm glad I went with inflatable, it does feel solid under you, but won't hurt if you bump into it on a fall. My wife and I didn't fall, but the nine year old did about 10 times. I think she did it on purpose though because she was having fun.The board tracked pretty well, but couldn't really determine since we were newbys and a little shaky still. I got it going near the end, and once you get up to speed does pretty good. The middle fin goes on well, and I like that it's a built in screw that requires no tools. I heard some old versions had pieces easy to lose. So, happy with my first iSUP. I am now officially a tad bit cooler and hip. Of course, now I finally have one, they will be "so early 2015" before I get out again.P.S. The upgrades from the original seem like a real improvement, even though I never had the original. The handles at front and back are really a great addition!

****PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE****

****PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BUYING THIS PRODUCT IT MAY SAVE YOUR LIFE****So here it goes.... I bought this for mother day for my wife. She was looking for a board that could fit in her trunk of here car. I read all the amazing reviews on this product and figured this is a home run. The $800 price tag is steep but again I read everyone amazing reviews and figured its worth it. I have used stand up paddle boards for year this is not my first experience.Product came nice and quick. I unpacked it my first impression was I was very impressed seems like a great product as everyone else has stated. The only thing I didn't like was the hand pump cheesy hard plastic hose looks like It could last a week or two before cracking....Filled up it was easy pretty quick and again I was very impressed on how everything worked and looked. Put it in the water and it very stable handles great and tons of fun to use!.....until 5 minutes later....*****THE BAD*****After paddling about a mile away from the dock I started circling a little island while going around the shore line the board bumped in to something and it ruptured! with in 15 seconds all the air was out of the board and I was in 52 degree water. Thankfully I was close to the island and swam to it. Freezing cold I dragged the deflated board back up on the shore still wondering what happened. I waited on the shore line for what felt like hour till a boat passed I waved them down but they refused to pick me up because it was very shallow in the area I was in. They phoned 911 for me and minutes later the marine police picked me up.Long story short these boards are a silly novelty and actually pretty dangerous if you plan on going any distance from where you launched from. Lets not forget the $800 price tag??? for the boarding I do ill stick with a conventional paddle board...All I hope is if someone is reading this hopefully this saves there life.See attached picture's
