Oakley Men's MPH Crankshaft

These came in a box that was slightly crushed. I assume from shipping because they were shipped in a plastic envelope instead of an outer box. I wanted to used them as a gift and can’t with the box like that….So I bought another pair direct from Oakley so I would have them in time to gift. The pair from Oakley was matte black with polarized lenses but still crankshafts. The ones direct from Oakley had the upgraded polarized lenses but cost less than these (on sale).I immediately felt a difference in quality. The matte ones feel sturdier and they are stiffer to open and close. The shiny black ones from Amazon move more freely and feel somewhat loose and have an overall lighter weight feel. Maybe that’s just due to the frame color difference…. Maybe they are used and returned. Not sure. They are identical otherwise so I assume the matte frame just has a more solid feel.The boxes are identical and the little draw string bag cases and paperwork is all identical.So I’m not sure about these…. They are EXTREMELY light weight and have a loose feel to the point of feeling cheap. But maybe that’s what they are going for? I have to return them because they aren’t giftable with a damaged box but I think they are probably authentic oakleys.
