YETI Rambler 36oz Vacuum Insulated Bottle

I bought a Yeti Rambler at Dicks sporting goods for my husband. I wanted a different color so we could tell them apart. The store was out of stock on the other colors so I ordered what was supposed to be an authentic Yeti from a Yeti authorized dealer.I opened the the package and it appeared to be a Yeti. Since some reviewers complained of counterfeits I compared it with the one that I just bought. The fonts on the labels were slightly different and some of the wording was a little different. I compared the documentation inside the bottle. Again the Yeti authorized one was not the same ( taller, not as wide and different from the one from Dicks). My husband has two other Yetis and the documentation is the same.I compared the bottles side by side. Both were 36 once ramblers but the one from Dicks was slightly taller, the steel base was slightly taller, and the mouth was slightly smaller. The chug cap was a perfect fit for the Dicks bottle but was a little too small for the “authorized” bottle-it didn’t form a good seal. There was a large, visible seam running the inside length of the bottle. The Yeti bottle has a sealed barely noticeable seam.This bottle looks similar to the real Yeti but I have no idea how it will function. I bought Yeti because I spend a lot of time outdoors and need a water bottle than will keep water cold in the summer heat. I am willing to spend the price for a Yeti but $49.99 is too much to spend for a look a like.
