we are a bObsweep household!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2016
My first bObsweep product was the standard version. I am now the proud owner of bOb's younger brother, Junior. Junior is a cheaper option, but I don't really know why. As far as I can tell, they function the same. There may be some program differences between them, but I just use the auto setting. I will start by saying that I love both bOb and Jr. and the bObsweep family. To give a brief rundown, here are the highlights: Pros - easy to use and set up, nice design, sweep the floor while you're making dinner (or watching TV or on vacation) Cons - eats cords (all vacuums do this), has trouble with big thresholds, might miss a few spots here and there (all robotic vacuums will), this one doesn't clean on a schedule Some more details: I've been using Jr. on hardwood and tile floors. He bumps into things and gets stuck from time to time, but he manages to cover a lot of ground and wiggle himself out when he gets jammed between furniture. He has a bumper that has some give and protects the furniture. We've been letting him go when we get home from work. By the time the groceries are unloaded, he is almost done. It's great!!! You do have to have the floors clear of things that Jr. can eat like cords or small objects, but the point of having a robotic vacuum is to have a clean house, soooooo..... it works for us! :) Also, Jr. is pretty quiet. We have two dogs that bark at everything and are TERRIFIED of the regular vacuum cleaner. They barked at Jr. for a few minutes but didn't seem to pay much attention beyond that. Jr. picks up all of their hair though!! My favorite thing is that both bOb and Jr. are pretty simple to use, and customer service is AMAZING. Using bOb standard or Jr. is easy, but if you have any problems, you can call or email and get a quick resolution. My mother has already caught on to how to use Jr. and wants to buy one for my grandmother. That's house easy it is! We are officially a bObsweep family now. Overall, I think any robotic vacuum is a great option for so many households - those with pets, busy parents, elderly that have trouble keeping up the house. I imagine they all function similarly with a comparable list of pros and cons, but it would be difficult to beat the customer service at bObsweep.

Dont do it!!
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on January 15, 2017
Dont do it. So we got this item for xmas and setup was easy. Here is where we got hosed(I will even go far as to say I felt ripped off). After reading below you will see why we returned it, but moreover if you want to return it that will cost YOU $45 dollars. The company that sells this thing does not mention returns are at your cost. What they also dont tell you is when you go to mail it back at even the cheapest way it is "hazardous cargo" because it has a lithium ion battery in it. When I questioned that they pretty much told me tough break, and offered no other option. So to return a product that I was unsatisfied with it cost 25% of its value. UNACCEPTABLE. Now the reasons I sent it back are the following Its not efficient in its paths and it needs a charge before it does its job. If you have pets, forget it. If you have throw rugs on a hardwood floor, forget it. If you have a room any larger than about 10x10' forget it. If you have anything more than maybe dust on a hardwood floor or you have office carpet you might get lucky with this product but youd be a gambler at that point.
