Easy snap open lid to keep my huge Costco portions tamed

The Good: I bought this container as a way to organize and stack my dry ingredients in the kitchen, and it worked so well, I bought a few more. They freed up so much space on my counter I even made a place for my pancake mix and my protein powders. I love how the lid comes with a seperate snap which is large enough for measuring cups so I don't have to crack open the whole thing. Dishwasher friendly and so versatile. The Bad: The initial lid, which secures with a snap on each side, can be a little tough when I first put it on, but other than that, I have no complaints and I wish I had found this line of containers sooner. Not the best quality, but not a lot of other options in this price range. Works okay for rice storage.

I bought this container to store rice. It is not the best quality and the lid is definitely not air-tight, something I consider a major flaw. I like the way the lid snaps on, but the small portion of the lid that lifts up is the part doesn't seal all the way, something I would expect for a plastic container costing over $10. The plastic itself is rather flimsy and the quality is not as high as I expected. Considering that I bought a food safe and completely air tight container 5x the size for about $15 to store cat food, I just expected a little better from this container. Despite my disappointments, I've decided to keep it since there don't seem to be a lot of other options out there and I'm tired of looking at a big bag of rice in my pantry. If anyone is wondering how much rice this holds, I just weighed it. It is just over 3/4 of the way full of rice and weighs about 8.5 pounds So, if you use it for rice I think you can probably fit a 10 pound bag.
