Totally Impressed!

So impressed with this item. I live in an older house that always has an older smell to it. This baby cleared it out in one day. I moved it from room to room and it really does leave the air fresh. No smell comes from the unit what so ever. A bonus for us was that when the unit is on high it sounds like a window unit to me. It made for the best sleep with the background "white" noise for those who sleep with fans on for the noise. It is lightweight and easy to move. When the unit is on the lowest fan setting it is so quiet I thought maybe I had turned it off. All around a great buy and I am going to purchase another one for my office. I chose this on for the price and the fact that the replacement filters are cheap and you change them once to twice a year. The pre filter can be rinsed off and the formaldehyde filter gets changed when it is used up. All in all a great buy.

No Change In The Air Quality

Did we get a lemon? Possibly, then again possibly not. The prior air purifier machine, I purchased worked extremely well. Once people walked through the front door, they would comment on the fresh air quality inside our home. It was on constantly for 2.5 years and then gave up the ghost and to my dismay the company stopped making my model machine. The price on a larger model was 3 times more. I open up all the windows, weather permitting and enjoy outdoor fresh air. The Rowenta Fan works so well and looks so smart. I did anticipate a quality item with the Intense Pure Air. I ran this machine initially for 7 hours and then for an entire weekend moving it to different rooms (the largest area was 15Fx17F). No Air Quality Improvement, just cold air pushed through. Machine has a nice blue light around the edge which makes a nice night light. The on/off button has to be pressed hard. May have been designed this way so children can not turn it on easily. Returned.
