STILL The BEST INDUCTION COOKWARE SET you can get AT THIS PRICE RANGE AFTER OVER 13 YEARS!
By SHan on Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2023
I bought 1st set on June,10, 2010 and still using them regularly but I could not find the exact same set after. So when I saw this set a month a go with minor change in what is included, I had to pull the trigger. I use these almost exclusively for induction only with occasional gas stove use when induction is being used. Don't buy this set for shiny copper bottom because it won't last. If your cooking style involves using lots of oil, buy something else. If you use induction cooktop to steam, boil, and you don't want to spend alot of money to get durable set, get this! I have been happy with the 1st set for past 13 years and still going and very happy to add 2nd set since I can't seem to buy certain pieces I use more separately and at this price point, might as well get the whole set! Anyway I will copy and paste the review I posted over 10 years ago and nothing to change. "I have used this set for past 2 years banging around, burning stuffs on, scrapping off 1/4 inch thick burnt food off the bottom numerous times and just love this set! So dropped by Amazon to get a 2nd set and read some of the negative reviews and I was like, huh? Most handles WILL get hot if you cook long enough with high heat granted some more so than the other If you want to minimize that, avoid thin rounded off handles like the ones you see with this set and go with solid handles. Also you are buying a $100 INDUCTION capable SET and not one of those $1000 heirloom set. Don't expect same long lasting shiny surface. You want long lasting shine, there are high quality set around $600+. And some people were saying it is too light. That is one of the things I like about this set. Not everyone likes the weight/price of Le Creuset or the weight of cast iron though I have both of those as well. Each cookware has different ideal use. I use non-tef non stick pan for eggs on medium to low heat w/ slight oil. I use cast iron for cooking meat. You get the idea. I will explain what is so good/bad about this set after using and abusing for 2 years. The thickness of the cookwares aren't thin but it is not thick either like other cookwares so it is a bit light. Food will burn more easily compared to $200 a piece cookware due to thinner bottom. The shining will go fast. So why the 5 stars, you ask? It is because this cookwares compliments certain style of cooking perfectly at great price point. This set is awesome IF your method of cooking is boiling AND you have induction cook top ($60-100 for table top model) When you boil, you tend to use bit of water in there and gets heavy. Heavy cookware makes it worse. So lighter weight on the cookware is a +. The handle is thin and rolled off design offering wide gripping area which is another + handling the cookware filled with water. And anyone who use induction cooktop knows that hot handle issue can be ignored almost completely. If you use elct or gas, go with different models. You will not be happy with this one. BUT if you are looking for induction cookware set that you can use every day at good price/quality ratio, this set is the one! However, if you plan to to fry ALOT, you might consider investing a lot more money and get one pan with thicker bottom for frying only."

These are not true stainless steel pans, you must read the care instructions and food always sticks to them!
By Nacho on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2018
READ the care instructions carefully! I was excited to get these pans, they looked great and sounded like quality pans, but while reading the care instructions and seasoning the pans, we were instantly disgusted with the pans. You can not use scouring pads, steel wool or harsh detergents to clean them or it voids the warranty. You are not supposed to put them through the dishwasher because it discolors the pans and THAT is not covered by their warranty but it advertises they are dishwasher safe. The reason I do not like these pans though, is because EVERYTHING sticks to them no matter how much oil is used or how low the heat is! No matter how seasoned the pans are before using them to cook with, you get food cooked onto the pan and it is hard to get it off because you can't use anything abrasive to get it off. We purchased these pans because it said stainless steel, our old pans of 15 years were Wearever stainless steel and we used steel wool on a few spots during the years and never had an issue. These pans are NOT real stainless steel, and after re-reading every little detail on the care sheet, we realized that it hints that the pans are Aluminum with copper. If there is a hint of stainless steel in there, then I'd like to know where. Our old pans never stained in color like their care sheet states these pans will because of how they are made. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE PANS! They are more of a headache than you want to deal with. I would put no stars if it allowed me to.
