Great for a Quick Slip-on and a Short Trip

You can never go wrong with any Bearpaw slipper--they are uniformly of the highest quality and greatest comfort. These slippers aren't cheap, but I'm sure they'll last for a very long time. I have an older pair that have lasted me for over eight years of often-tough use (I've even cut the lawn with them on--not recommended). This particular model is great to quickly slide your feet into, though they're not designed for long walks because without a heel closure they "flop" a bit. I got them for answering the door, going out into the backyard spa, and so forth, and they are perfect for such short journeys. For longer walks, I bought the Bearpaw Men's Romeo II Slippers, which are not as quick to put on, but can comfortably take you farther.

Very comfortable . . . at first

I am size 10 US. Ordered my size & they were tight. Ordered size 11 US & they fit perfectly. You may consider going up one size (especially if you have wide feet). I'm writing this review after over a month of wear. Initially, these slippers were very comfortable. The material is warm & plush. The foam layer is soft & supportive. After a few weeks of normal wear, the foam pads in both shoes became crushed & lost almost all of their cushioning. They soles are now relatively hard. Overall, they are still decent house shoes, just be forewarned about premature degradation of the sole cushioning.
