Utensil Crock for Kitchen

I ordered this on a whim--couldn't decide what I wanted after looking at what seemed like hundreds! All I knew was that the plastic Rubbermaid flour container I was using by my stove to hold my cooking utensils was going to get melted by a hot pan touching it on of these days. So I needed something metal that would hold everything I have. Compared to my Rubbermaid container, this thing looked very small. But I was pleasantly surprised at how much it holds! I especially love that it has a divider (one bar across the top, one bar across the bottom inside). Those dividers make it so the utensils stay upright instead of flopping all over. I also love the oval shape, which is unique compared to most round utensil holders. And I really like the open, airy leaf design. However, if there was one drawback it would be that design. Because it's so open you have to be careful to put your utensils in straight down. It's easy to poke a handle through the leaf motif. Doing so doesn't ruin the holder--it's surprisingly sturdy and well-built. But you just have to make sure you get the handles inside. Still, I'm surprised by how much I love how this looks beside my stove, so I'm not bothered at all by that one detail. Five stars for sure!
