Surprised by the ingredients/allergens

We love Mrs. Meyers hand soap so we tried the lavender laundry detergent. We were shocked by the ingredients list and the fact that the label says their are allergens in the product.We'll try to keep using it but the fragrance is very strong and I do have concerns about the ingredients and allergens. I understand that there *are* some plant-based ingredients but I'd be shocked if this whole list was derived from plants.
