Clinique For Men Face Scrub 3.4 Oz

Many of my favorite brands have stopped making exfoliators for men. Admittedly, this is where I'll pay more for my skin care products. For context, the Clarins Men Exfoliator/Wash is the best thing I've ever tried. Clean scent, cream based, great exfoliation and fresh feeling after. This is definitely not a face wash. It's a really good exfoliator, but it's thick, hard to lather, even harder to squeeze out of the tube and really gritty (which I guess is the point!). I read a best-of list that stated this was a cream based exfoliator, but it has the consistency of molding clay with sand-like particles. It's also left my face blotchy after each time I've used it (twice so far). Why the three stars? It works. And my face may become used to it. But I will probably use it once a week, max. On the plus side, it's a great forearm workout squeezing the product out of the tube.I can see why this has such high reviews. It really does work. But skin care, for me, is something I look forward to. Blue Atlas, Anthony, Clarins, Blind Barber, Brickell, Huron - they all make some great products that actually make me feel happy in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. Scents, cleanliness, soothing nature, less greasy/cheap feeling - I don't know, if I'm going to do something every morning, I may as well spend for quality. The Clinique exfoliator is none of those - it works, but feels like walking through a sandstorm.
