Ordered product to keep the two extension cord ends out of the weather. Box is easy to use and once you get it closed and the sides latched down, it is water proof. I have it in a spot that sprinklers run twice a day, when I opened up today to check inside the box, it was completely dry inside. Great product, great price

I previously got the Safewayfire outdoor electrical box IP54-rated. That was about the same price, had real latches on either side, and reliable means of sealing cords running through the openings. This has no latches - you're supposed to use small zip-ties to secure the lid.It would not last a second outside if accidentally stepped-on: the plastic is very thin.The Safewayfire box, B0CGHJ35FF, is not currently available. I suggest the HRENSAW or FLEMOON brand boxes that are also IP54 rated and have a similar latch and cord isolation method.
