Amzer Luxe Argyle High Gloss TPU Soft Gel Skin Case for Samsung Focus I917 - Hot Pink

The Good: * Form fitting * Slim * Protects phone on all sides and back * Protects buttons too * Less dirt and dust accumulation between case and phone * Easier to find phone in the depths of your purse * Dirt Cheap The Bad: * Harder to open and close USB port slide cover This review is very similar to my review of the Black Argyle version of this case. I was previously using a $30 case that I purchased when I first got my Focus in Nov 2010. At the time, my old case was the thinnest "feather" light option available. This case is better and it is FORM fitting to the focus which the other was not. My old case left gaps in the holes for the sleep button, camera button and volume buttons and it didn't protect the top or bottom of the phone. This case completely surrounds all sides of the phone, even the holes (except there are openings for the USB port, Mini-plug on the top and the camera lens/flash and speaker on the back. This means that less dust, crumbs and dirt is accumulated between the case and the phone like my old case. It also feels slimmer in my pocket and it's more protected. My wife and mom both have one now too and they love it and chose the pink one. The buttons on the case are slightly raised, just enough to feel them but not enough to accidently push them hard enough to cause the phone to turn on by itself in your pocket or purse. You do have to press slightly harder than without the case, but barely. It has not bothered any of us. The only slight issue is that it is harder to open and close the USB cover. If you have small fingers or have fingernails, you'll find this much easier. If you have big thick meaty hands, you might find it more difficult... maybe use your pinky instead. This case is translucent/see-through and I think looks great and unobtrusive to the focus style. We liked the high-gloss of the case too. The argyle pattern on this particular case is definitely noticeable though. My wife and mother are using the pink version and like it. It helps them find the phone much easier in the depths of their purses. I picked the black argyle one for my phone. The pattern on that one is not very noticeable which I like. My wife was tempted to get the Amzer Silicon Jelly version of the case because that comes in more colors, but we were afraid it would have more of a "sticky" feel to it that we didn't want. Probably can't go wrong with that case either if you don't like the high-gloss or argyle pattern or you're interested in a different color than what's available with this style.
