17oz Burgundy - Set of 4

Wine glass manufacturers have marketed their wine glasses towards different types of wines. There are wine glasses for "merlot" and yet another glass for "cabernet" etc. To me, you only need two types of wine glasses: One for white (taller with narrow base) and one for red (shorter with wide base). This glass should be used for red wines (although there is no strong reason why it can't be used for white wines) of all kinds. I have drank practically every type of red wine with this glass and it is great for all of them. I use dishwashers (because I am lazy) for everything and this glass has withstood the test of time with dishwashers. All my wine glasses have went through at least 20 cycles in my dishwasher and they all look and feel fine without any damages. So these gets thumbs up for their relative sturdiness (wine glasses are intrinsically fragile). Pros: 1)Good for all types of red wines. 2)Relatively sturdy and dishwasher OK (at least mine). 3)Looks great and has a relatively sturdy in construction (particularly its stem). Cons: 1)None
