Zune Horribly Destroyed?
We don’t know if the rumors are true, but frankly, your official silence on the issue speaks volumes. (We’re done emailing your customer service department, at least until they answer our first 38 emails.) As Internet word has it, your upcoming Zune HD release has been thwarted by killer battle-borgs sent from a universe where Steve Jobs was born in the 16th century and introduced the iPod hundreds of years earlier, eventually winning him global domination and, somehow, immortality. Now he’s determined to stamp out Microsoft wherever they appear – even in other realities.
So what’s up? If it’s true, we’re just going to go ahead and buy this Microsoft Zune 80GB with Dock & Home A/V Kit. we suppose we’ll make do with its 20,000-song capacity and its 3.2” color screen until you fight off the cyborgs or they take over our reality, whichever. And we’ll watch it through our TVs and charge it in our AC outlets, thanks to the Dock & Home A/V kit.
We’ll hold out just a little longer for the official word. But again, the wall of silence you’ve erected around this issue is not very reassuring, especially given the rapid pace with which this information is leaking out. I always say, read something in enough tweets and it must be true.
