Neither the producers of the musical, nor any of the contributing staff to any aspect of the production, vouch for any aspect of Wicked Little Earbuds. The manufacturer’s claim of effective noise isolation, deep bass, and crisp treble have not been in any way influenced by the delightful retelling of a classic fairy tale from the witch’s point of view.

Nor do Wicked Little Earbuds have any relationship with or connection to Wicked Wisdom, Jada Pinkett-Smith’s nu-metal band of some reknown. The Wicked Wisdom bandwagon is crowded enough. Wicked Little Earbuds has no wish to join the retinue of hangers-on greedily milking the Wicked Wisdom cash cow, especially if that cow is on a moving bandwagon.

Likewise, the name Wicked Little Earbuds does not imply any affiliation with Public Enemy or their 1990 hit “Welcome to the Terrordome”, with its repeated call to “hear the drummer get wicked.” The demonstrable fact that “Welcome to the Terrordome” sounds good on these Wicked Little Earbuds is purely coincidental.
