You kids today, with your LCDs and your LEDs and your eight gazillion colors. Back in my day, sonny, we hooked our Commodore 64s up to a plain old TV, right there in the family room. We didn't turn up our noses at the 64k of RAM, the 320 x 200 resolution, and the eight-bit processor. We didn't need some fancy liquid crystal nuclear robot flat-screen geegaw. No, our generation knew enough to be grateful for what we had!
Now they say this newfangled ViewSonic NextVision N4 video processor lets you turn your computer monitor into a TV. Well, I say balderdash, poppycock, horsefeathers! Computers are supposed to hook up to your TV screen, not the other way around. I don't care if the N4 can gather all your video inputs from cable to DVD to VCR and dislay them on your monitor. I don't give a hoot about the highfalutin' video processor with its progressive scan video quality. Hogwash, if you ask me!
Where I come from, peripherals know their place. This N4 sounds like an abomination to me - a convenient, high-performance abomination!
