The line between naked-casual and office-casual.

Casual seems like it would be an easy thing to figure out, right? Except it's not. When you're "casual" with your spouse, you might be on the couch in your ratty underwear trying to find the news. When you're "casual" with your boss, you might be in a polo shirt and nice slacks eating wings on the company's dime. When you're "casual" with your rich in-laws, you might be wearing sweaters and planning a weekend at the Hamptons where nobody wears a tie. And when you're "casual" with your old friends from the neighborhood, well, you're probably just really drunk.

So don't worry about when you're gonna wear this "casual" looking shirt. Because it's a t-shirt, right? It means you'll never wear it instead of a polo or a sweater or a suit and tie or anything in that grey area of complex "casual" that straddles many different worlds. It means you're gonna wear it to the gym, or when you want to buy a car, or when you plan on going shopping all day and you want to be comfortable but still relatively decent looking in case you see someone attractive who might want to be shopping alongside you. And yes, it'll still work just fine with the old friends from the neighborhood.

That's the difference between "casual" and "real" after all. One's for society. The other's for you.
