Tragano Greek Orangic Honey 2 Jars
Tragano Greek Orangic Honey
Description: This single-estate, organic honey is raw, unfiltered and cold-pressed. It is collected from the wild thyme, sage, mountain tea (sideritis yyriaca), and Cretan ebony (ebenus cretica) that grow in the mountains of the Greek island of Crete. Harvested in the spring, our honey is traditionally extracted to ensure that all the natural characteristics and nutritional benefits remain intact. Importantly, there are no preservatives, additives, artificial flavors nor colorants. With a full body, light color and high nutritional value, organic honey is a true wellness gift and an integral part of the healthy Mediterranean diet.
Unlike other companies that mass-produce honey from hives across different estates, Tragano Greek Organics chooses their honey solely from the apiary estate of Manolis Stefanakis, who combines his scientific knowledge with three generations of bee-keeping traditions near Heraklion, Crete. Learn more about Mr. Stefanakis. Importantly, there are no preservatives, additives, artificial flavors nor colorants.
We love honey the classic Greek way, atop some Greek yogurt with walnuts for breakfast or a morning snack. Try it on your French toast, waffles, pancakes and crepes, and as a healthier sweetener to coffee, tea and desserts. Mix it with extra virgin olive oil and freshly-squeezed lemon for a healthy salad dressing. Drizzle it on top of cheeses, especially sharp ones. We even have it straight out of the jar as a spoonful of daily wellness!
