As soon as this balloon comes down, I’m getting one of those Thermor BW972 Bios Weather Stations.

It sounded like a great idea: why rely on somebody else’s weather reports when I could go see the weather unfold first-hand? Now that the lightning has singed all of the hair off of my body, the genius of my plan seems a little overstated.

But hey, with the Thermor BW972 Bios Weather Station, I can still perform weather analysis on my PC. I’ll let the outdoor sensors do the nasty work of actually being out in that stuff, collecting data with a thermometer, wind sensor, and rain gauge. Then I’ll use the USB connection to create graphs and charts on my computer. Yep, assuming I don’t land on a freeway or in a volcano or something, as soon as I’m back on terra firma, the Thermor BW972 Bios Weather Station will be the first thing I buy.

Second thing: a hairpiece. Anybody know where I can buy some prosthetic eyebrows?
