People call me an “undead hipster” but whatever, I just know where the scene is. And right now, you know what? It’s all about the mummy, man. Check it, they’re just as good as zombies, but they’re ABOVE GROUND, right? Zombies are all “arrr I arise from the warm embrace of the grave” but mummies? They never HAD a grave, man! They live in a HOUSE!
So when my friends go out in the woods to play zombie all day, I just roll my eyes. Zombies are so, I dunno, middle class, right? Mummies are where it’s at, and that’s why I go into the woods in a Swiss Gear Crevasse 0 Degree Mummy-Style Sleeping Bag. It’s really comfortable and keeps me warm, but even more important, I look REALLY sweet when I’m asleep. Did you know that every mummy might have become a deity in the Egyptian afterlife, and was buried with his servants sometimes? Whereas zombies just keep walking and have been totally co-opted by Hollywood.
