It’s fun to sit there, blasting out the brand new Fleet Foxes and waiting for Skinny Jeans Monroe to say “Wow, great sound, right? Did you get it from the Apple Store?” I always get a great big smile and say “Oh, no, this is my own rip. It’s in .ogg. That’s an obscure file format, you probably haven’t heard of it.” and then they start making sad faces and have to pull a Flaming Lips t-shirt over their heads to hide the tears. Let me tell you, there’s no word to describe the rush when that happens.

And she knew I saw it too. She finally just stormed out to be cool somewhere else, giving me the biggest glare as she passed by my table. And me? I just smiled my sweetest smile.
Trust me, in the right neighborhood this Samsung Galaxy S 8GB 5” Wi-Fi can be more entertaining than Deerhunter and Best Coast combined.
