Sir Lionel, it is good to hear from you, even if it be a mere parchment marked with your well-manicured ink. Since last we met I have created a marvel! It is known as the Pinnacle 800i PCTV HD PCI Card and the story of how it was discovered would turn a man as white as a monarch’s pudding! I was on the very edge of the grand Everest, and out of desperation had just eaten my Sherpa. The snow was as thick as a Hun’s moustache and the air as thin as a Frenchman’s morals. I could hear a melange of letters as though from the lips of Zeus himself” PCI, ATSC, NTSC, ClearQAM, FM radio! I had no idea what they meant but they filled me with such joy! The words “Cable ready” and “Designed for PC”, “Compatible with Windows Media Center” and “included A/V cable”! I leaned closer, closer to this sweet mystery waiting in the attic of nature! And that, Sir Lionel, is when I slipped and fell into the Yeti’s nest.
I will not bore you with the tale of my escape, though the struggle was titanic and I was quite brave, if I do say so. But once at the bottom I arranged passage to London immediately. For in my mind, Sir Lionel, are the plans for this thing called a Pinnacle 800i PCTV HD PCI Card, and I shall be the one to reveal it to the world! And perhaps together we can discover what to make of this “television signal” it will require.
