Some things in life are worth fighting for.
Dear Steven Bochco,
You don’t know me and I don’t know you, and to be perfectly honest I was more than willing to keep things that way. However there’s a slight problem with which only you can help me. Hence my writing to you today.
I recently purchased a refurbished Philips Blu-Ray Player with BD-Live and DIVX to enjoy my favorite movies and TV shows. And when I say “favorite TV shows” I of course mean only one show:
Cop Rock.
You hold the key, Mr. Bochco. You alone could release the greatest musical theater police drama ever. Give us the silver-throated warbling of Randy Newman’s opening theme in glorious TrueHD 7.1 Surround Sound! Let me see Teri Austin, Ronny Cox, Barbara Bosson, and even a guest spot by Jimmy Smits and a young Sheryl Crow singing back-up in beautiful 1080p HD!
If they’ll put a ridiculous piece of tripe like The Sopranos on Blu-Ray surely we can get the greatest series of September to December 1990!
