More Than Met The Eye
Imagine a world where a young Orson Welles stood at the edge of Grover’s Mill and reported on the giant metal creatures that came from the cylinder with the strange ability to turn into ice wagons and phonographs. This would be the world of the Oregon Scientific Music Sphere.
Rising like an innocent little ball that no one would ever suspect to be a 2.4 Ghz wireless digital audio system, the Oregon Scientific Music Sphere unfolds to handle your MP3 player, stereo system or TV audio output through the audio input jacks. With two tweeters, a full range driver and three independent audio sources that deliver a full range system performance these little things rock like Soundwave’s testicles, while also boasting an LCD display including clock, volume, bass and treble display as well as input selection and battery indicator. And it changes colors. Ooh.
It works with 6 traditional or rechargeable "C" batteries, so it could portably evesdrop on the negotiations between Andrew Carnegie and Starscream, or with the included AC adapter, so it could sit on the shelf at the volcano base and pump out the Boogie Nights soundtrack. Perhaps we would have no Citizen Kane, but imagine how great the all robot version of The Great Gatsby would have turned out!
