Padding The Specs
We guess it can’t hurt that this National Geographic Indoor Digital Thermometer measures indoor temperatures from 23°F to 122°F – but come now. It’s not ever going to be that hot or that cool in your house unless you live in a greenhouse in Death Valley or a tent in the Yukon. It reminds us of those sports cars whose speedometers go up to 180 MPH when the cars themselves don’t: more marketing gimmick than actual feature. Then again, people do love sports cars, don’t they?
