Welcome to Typing for Realists.
Okay class, we’ll be using the Micro Innovations 125 Key Multimedia Keyboard for today’s exercise. Now find home row; remember, you’ll need to keep your hands centered with one finger on the A key, the S key, the “play” button for your iTunes, the button that launches the internet, the “next” button for your music (in case you need a new inspiration), the 9 key on the 10-key pad, the Return key, the volume up key, the Windows key, F4, the semicolon key, the brightness key, F19, the Enter key, and of course the space bar.
Now then; fire up your favorite web site, get your tunes of choice blaring, and begin typing the sample on the sheet provided. It’s only 250 words so we’ll give you six hours. No hunting and pecking!
