Look, I know you’re pretty excited about getting to driving age, but I’ve got news for you. It’s not all that great.

Lemme tell you a bit about your parents’ driving day. They get in the car. They pull out of the driveway. They manage to hit every red light before hitting the highway. Often, they get treated to several hand signals when they honk at jerks who would rather spend more time talking on their cell phones than paying attention to the road. On very special occasions, they get to sit in the car on the road with a bunch of other drivers and barely move at all! Exciting, huh? And you thought they were kidding when they said being a grown-up kinda sucks.

So when you get your random Power Scouts Vehicle, take the time to really appreciate everything you can do with it. Whichever vehicle you got, it’s much more exciting than Daddy’s car, that’s for sure, with the speed and power to traverse any almost any obstacle you throw with just an easy tap. When you’re older and find yourself driving your own car, you’ll be able to look back on your play times with a grin, even if you have to sit in traffic for hours.

You know what the biggest obstacle your parents have to face while driving? Fighting the urge to just turn around, go home, and play with your new Power Scouts vehicle. If you catch them, just let them have their fun. It’s hard to be an adult, after all.
