Baby’s First Webcam
From its gently rounded edges to its chubby proportions, the Digital Camera is the most toddler-friendly webcam in the nursery today. It’s really crafty of Logitech to appeal to this untapped market segment – or it would be, if three-year-olds knew how to work webcams.
But a more mature taste in product design needn’t preclude enjoying the Logitech ClickSmart 310’s modest charms. When webcamming, it pulls down 352×288 pixels at up to 30 fps (as a webcam) or 15 fps (when shooting video). No flash, but hey, you got lights at your house, right? And it comes with enough software to fill a medium-sized diaper pail.
Hmmm…now that we get a look at that tiny monochrome LCD screen, maybe this would be better-suited to a kid. Are we sure this wasn’t made by Fisher-Price? Think there are any toddlers on MySpace who might want to buy one?
