Note to self: consider Taco Bell, the popular American restaurant chain based in Irvine, California which serves a version of Mexican cuisine. Consider George Bell, former left fielder for the Toronto Blue Jays, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago White Sox, who was purportedly born in the Dominican Republic. Does it not seem odd that these two entities – one “Mexican”, one Dominican – should both be ignorant of the Spanish word for “bell”? Coincidence? Hardly. FOLLOW THE MONEY.

Note to self: I can’t go on like this. It’s time to start the healing with Mom. I’m going to go to her today, sit her down, and finally tell her, “Mom, I’m sorry you feel the need to control me and destroy my life like you did when you threw away that invitation to my girlfriend’s birthday party when I was 15.” It feels good just to write it down.

Note to self: I know everybody says this, just like everybody secretly thinks they can sing. But I seriously think that if given half a chance, most people would think I smell great. Not just good. Great.
