As in “Sure, we know that guy. A real cartbag, that one.”

Hey, we’ll be honest with you—we don’t golf. We know practically nothing about it. At least not regular-sized golf. We’ve played a fair amount of the miniature variant.

Here’s what we do know, though: Regular-sized golf is played on a considerably bigger course than the miniature version, and as a result the holes are much farther apart. Also, while you can play mini-golf with just a putter, regular-sized golf requires numerous and varied ball-whackers, or golf sticks, or hitters, or whatever you call them.

With this additional load to carry, and a larger course over which to carry it, a regular-sized golfer is advised to employ one of these wheelbarrow things for his whackers. The clever pushable-pullable-portable design of this whacker bag was apparently refined from that of Civil-War-era cannons. It’s much more maneuverable at this scale—plus its wheels are removable so you can carry it.

We emphasize that: YOU can carry it. We don’t need it. For our part, we’re going to stick to mini-golf. It’s cheaper than regular-sized golf, it’s less time-consuming than regular-sized golf, there are more animatronic pirates and apes than in regular-sized golf—and when you’ve finished a round, there are very often go-karts nearby.
