We’d like to apologize for our recent statements regarding the Kensington Laptop Docking Station.

A few weeks ago, we ran a writeup alleging a great many things that have now been revealed as offensive to the Kensington Laptop Docking Station and its very very very large friends in organized crime. So we’d like to offer a few apologies in this space.

First, the Kensington Laptop Docking Station was never in that jacuzzi at the Bilderburg group meeting back in 1987. Instead, it was at home, providing an easy way to connect multiple peripherals to a computer with just one USB plug. There are many witness to this so all our statements about how the Kensington Laptop Docking Station has a “stranglehold on the world” are to be considered incorrect.

Secondly, the Kensington Laptop Docking Station was at the scene of Marilyn Monroe’s death, but it was acting in concert with representatives of the law. Any photos showing it connected to a then-anachronistic 10/100 Ethernet port are simply a trick of the light, and in reality, it was just a misrepresentation of how it was using it’s Microphone In and Stereo Out ports to create a legal record of the search. Any claim we have made to the contrary is false.

Finally, that thing we said at the top of the writeup about very very very large guys is completely false. There are no guys making us write this retraction and we’re doing it of our own free will. Our relationship with the Kensington Laptop Docking Station is just as cool as your laptop will be when the unique wedge shaped design raises your computer to allow for better ventilation.

We apologize for all the above mistakes and for any hardship we have caused to the Kensington Laptop Docking Station and its family.
