No, I’m not trying to be funny. I legitimately want to use this Seal-N-Save to save my seal meat.

And if you had any idea how hard it is to get ahold of this stuff, you would understand that. You either have to know a guy who knows a guy who knows an Inuit, or go up to the frozen north during one of the occasional seal-hunting periods and bring it home yourself. I don’t know how much experience you have with a harpoon, but in most people’s hands, it’s more of a danger to themselves than to the seal.

So when you do get a line on some seal meat, of course you want to stock up while you can. But you can’t eat 25 pounds of seal meat in one sitting. I should know. I’m hoping that the Kenmore Elite Seal-N-Save’s air-tight seal will keep my seal air-tight. Ironically, nothing can ruin a good seal steak like freezer burn.
