Well, sir, that’s a very good question and, in fact, I’ve been putting an awful lot of thought into it recently.

You see, I realize that my days of sitting in this classroom and drawing band logos on my textbooks are rapidly coming to a close. My adult life is right around the corner and soon I’ll have to make some tough choices as to what the future holds of me. It’s a tad intimidating, I must admit, especially for someone like me who feels a little lost and dismayed by the lack of inspiration my schooling has offered me. Not only that, but I would rather not waste away in some self-constructed pit of mediocrity and despair like the one my parents seem all too content to languish in.

So what can I do? I want to enjoy life, to really grab hold of all it has to offer, but how? History has never thrilled me to be honest. Nor has Mathematics or Science. And while English has many charms, I don’t feel that words alone can properly provide a platform from which my life can truly take off and soar. For many days as I walked home from school, I pondered this, hoping that an answer would come to me. It was not until I had secluded myself in my room to relax to a Ronnie James Dio record that I found what I was looking for. The answer, it turns out, had been in my ears this whole time, in the form of Audiovox Headshox Metal Earbuds.

It wasn’t the sound of the 9mm drivers, though they do provide superior sound performance. It wasn’t the comfortable way their unique contoured design fits in my ears. It wasn’t even the fact that I got a Two-Pack of these and my choice of color, whether it be Black, Blue, Silver, Pink, or Red. It was the METAL they are made with, dear teacher. Gazing upon those earbuds there in my hand, I remembered that one thing in my life that I have always found so important, so vital, so inspiring. It was in that moment that my destiny unfolded before me.

So, to answer your question, I believe that it is in my best interest to pursue music, not only as a mean of expressing myself and my thoughts about the world around me, but as a career. It is my hope that through the power of Metal, I will find true contentment in a world that has very little.
