Okay, what do we have left to cram in here?

That shouldn’t be too hard; it’s a movie about video games, right? Maybe his Light Cycle is controlled with a mouse?

“Or he starts with a mouse and it sucks until he uncovers his inner TRON or something.”

“That…doesn’t really make sense though.”

“Yeah, the whole thing is supposed to be all space-age looking and slick. A mouse doesn’t really fit.”

But it’s a LASER mouse, people. And besides, it’s not our jobs to make it FIT in the plot, it’s our job to make it stand out in an awkward manner so people notice it and want to buy it so they can feel like Jeff Bridges while they click on icons.

“Is that…is that how you seriously think product placement works?”

Okay, new plan: the bad guy Jeff Bridges reveals himself to be a giant iHome Wireless Laser Netbook Mouse. Get Mr. Bridges on a sound stage and in costume, we’ll green screen it and put it together in post.

“You want Jeff Bridges to wear a giant wireless mouse costume?”

“Like he’s some sign twirler on the corner in Koreatown?”
