Check it out, gang! We are going to be the coolest kids in 6th grade!

I just snagged this sweet High School Musical/Pirates of the Caribbean Flix Digital Camera! I can take snapshots OR video, and use the included software to storyboard our home movies and insert effects! Finally all the kids at school will think we’re just as cool as the kids that were on TV two or three years ago! I can take all our head-shots using the 1.3 megapixel camera and then start recording our dance-centric adventures on the 64 MB memory included! You’re right, Tito, we’ll probably want to upgrade to a 2 GB SD card on our own.

Viewfinder? Why would I use that when I can flip out this LCD screen to check out the action! And once we upgrade our audio equipment (this built-in microphone is only so good), we’ll be set. It’s even got a 5” pocket tripod so we can set up static shots of…um, our feet. The important thing is that I can hook this up to the computer with a USB cable and transfer our video to edit using the Magic Director software. It’s even got TV out so we can show the pilot episode to our parents in the living room!

So start dancing! I don’t know, just do it like they do in the movies: let the spontaneous joy of music and dance overtake your soul. Preferably in the lunchroom. Just do SOMETHING! Oh c’mon, that’s not even dancing! You look like you’re embarrassed about it. Jeez, okay, time to rethink this. Take off the High School Musical art. Slap on the Pirates of the Caribbean stuff. How’s your Jack Sparrow impression?
