We confess to rather, er, eccentric photography interests. Our pursuits often require placing cameras in, shall we say, extraordinary settings, at unusual angles, amid unsanitary conditions. Alas, we’ve dropped and broken many valuable cameras, and missed many more worthwhile shots that cannot be re-created (at least, not without a little time for us to recuperate). But such is the price we pay for our art.

We’re hoping the Gorillapod is the balm for our photographic woes. Its three bendable, grippable legs wrap tightly around pieces of furniture, tree limbs, or body parts, eliminating the need for awkward tripods or expensive ER visits. We’re already planning some exciting new scenes with the Gorillapod in mind – but if it doesn’t work as promised, we’re going ahead with plan B: surgically implanting cameras in our foreheads.
